While September marks the official start of the fall season, it often just feels like an extended month of summer in Texas.  This year, we had some amazingly cool temperatures that arrived early, but that is not the only cool thing we have to report.

This year, September marked the completion of another cohort wrapping up Advanced Facilitator Training with our annual Capstone.  Held in McKinney Texas, the iLead Team hosted over twenty people as they celebrated another successful year and heard from author Barry Posner on the future of The Leadership Challenge.  Check out the details in Tom’s post, “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Capstone.”

Additionally, iLead announced two new Certified Masters of The Leadership Challenge who completed their requirements in September.  Read more about Lisa Hoston and Dan Nogal and their commitment to spreading leadership skills at Chumash Enterprises here.

Want a quick and inexpensive way to show appreciation to your staff?  Check out Kevin Johnson’s post, “Run To Dollar Tree” for a list of items that can be used to encourage staff individually or at your next staff meeting.

Finally, we took a moment to celebrate 25 years of Tom’s commitment to stronger leaders, better teams, and healthier organizations.  While there was no huge fanfare, a few of us were able to hold a small celebration this year marking this auspicious occasion.  Congratulations Tom on influencing so many towards excellent leadership.
